Casas del Sol was one of the first developments in Playa Blanca and is uniquely located in a prime position right opposite the little harbour and no more than a few minutes stroll to the village centre with its many shops, 3 golden sandy beaches and a good choice of restaurants, bars and nightlife. It is a highly sort after complex with many guests returning year after year. Due to its central location a car is not necessary. Casas del Sol is very well maintained and has been attractively landscaped with mature gardens home to a variety of palm trees and other colourful tropical plants. All the villas are accessed by footpaths so there is no through vehicular traffic resulting in safe, peaceful and tranquil surroundings. We chose to purchase our holiday home here as it seemed, by far, the most suitable place for our needs as a family with young children and the location could not be better as everything we need is within walking distance.

Over the years Casas del Sol has developed a loyal clientele who return year after year, sometimes more than once a year and, in the winter period staying for several weeks to escape the cold of the north european winter. You are likely to find a pleasant mix of families with young children, such as ourselves, and retired couples who enjoy the peaceful surroundings, excellent facilities with everything else right on the doorstep.

Casas del Sol has a large heated swimming pool with the shallow end gently sloping to a depth of around 180cm (6ft) and you will also find a paddling pool for the children. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols spread around the tiled pool terrace which is a popular place to meet new friends. There are also two tennis courts available and rackets and balls can be hired at reception.

The reception building is manned by friendly English speaking staff who are able to help you in case of any problems. They are also offer helpful advice and recommendations on places of interest, restaurants etc and can organise excursions, taxis, bicycle hire etc. The reception building also has a small shop selling the basics, an internet room and a large lounge with a good choice of books to borrow. Guests with their own laptops can connect to a Wifi internet connection which is available in, and around, reception
